DESCRIPTION: below you can find a step-by-step guidance in case you are unable to login to your MT5 account and you wished to reset your MT5 account password
POSSIBLE REASON: Your login to MT5 account might be unsuccessful as you might enter an invalid login credential or there might be an issue with your browser or internet connection.
RESOLUTION STEPS:
- Log in to your Deriv account showing the Trader's Hub here
- Refer to CFDs section showing your Deriv MT5 account
- Click the “Open” button, and a pop-up window will appear. To change the password, you need to click the pencil icon in the password section.
- Once you click the pencil icon, a pop-up page will appear. Click “Change password”.
- A verification email will be sent to your email and once you click on the "Change password" button, you will be able to set your new password.
- You can proceed to log in using your new MT5 password.
- Please be reminded that once you change the password for your MT5 account, this will be updated for all your existing MT5 accounts.
