2 min. readlast update: 03.14.2024

DESCRIPTION: The Deriv Bot workspace provides the option for you to select the contract type in the Trade parameters block.

RESOLUTION STEPS: In the Contract Type selection block, a User will see 3 Conditions after selecting a specific Trade Type.

  1. Trade Type -> Up/Down: Contract Type -> Both, Rise and Fall
  2. Trade Type -> Touch/Down: Contract Type -> Both, Touch and No Touch
  3. Trade Type -> In/Out: Contract Type -> Both, Ends between and Ends Outside
  4. Trade Type -> Asians: Contract Type -> Both, Asians Up and Asians Down
  5. Trade Type -> Digits: Contract Type -> Both, Matches and Differs
  6. Trade Type -> Reset call/Reset Put: Contract Type -> Both, Reset Call and Reset Put
  7. Trade Type -> High/Low Ticks: Contract Type -> Both, High Tick and Low Tick
  8. Trade Type -> Only Ups/Only Downs: Contract Type -> Both, Only Ups and Only Downs
  9. Trade Type -> Multipliers: Contract Type -> Both, Up and Down

NOTES:

  • The Contract Type: “Both” option is useful when the Deriv Bot user sets up an advanced strategy where the user can determine when to purchase a Rise or when to purchase a Fall:
  • For example, if you’ve set contract type to Both, add a conditional block in the Purchase Conditions mandatory block to help your bot determine which contract to purchase at each run.
